This piece was commissioned by PBS Television series Travels With Darley as a gift to George RR Martin. The Sky Railway features an adventure train born from the ashes of Santa Fe Southern. A creative team led by Santa Fe’s own George RR Martin which included artist Joerael Numina set out to be “…bold, wild, and exciting with something different…” Artfully painted rail cars and engines take passengers on a “howl and roar” of a ride between Santa Fe and Lamy, New Mexico.
