David Cericola was born in Raton, New Mexico and grew up in Santa Fe. He has always been interested in art and the beauty of birds in nature. He started teaching himself woodcarving 35 years ago. In the decades since then, he has developed his own style creating highly realistic pieces.

Each piece is a one-of-a-kind collectable, hand carved from Tupelo wood, accented with brass elements like leaves, cactus and flowers, and hand painted. Arist signed 1/1. The birds are all life size and offered exclusively by Marin Exclusive Fine Art.
