On the border of Colorado and New Mexico, high in the mountains, is Lake Maloya. It is a favorite spot for bird watchers. Ospreys, Canada Geese, Bald Eagles, Grebes, Eagle Owls and Belted Kingfishers are just a few of the birds that can be spotted around the lake. Maloya is a form of music, song and dance. Here, at sunset, you see a silhouette of some of these beautiful feathered creatures singing to the lake and dancing in air against a colorful sky.
