This piece was commissioned by a couple in Southern California. This owl family lives in their backyard tree. The painting was a wedding gift to themselves after each losing their spouse of over 40 years and finding love again in each other. The young owl continues to live with mama owl after the second sibling has flown off to start its own life in another tree in a place we hope is filled with as much love as this one.
