This 3-panel painting honors the hummingbirds found in Costa Rica. These beautiful tiny birds are considered spiritual messengers and often symbolize joy, beauty and life energy. It is believed that their presence can be a sign of good luck and balance in life. The tree where they are perched is a Savannah Oak also known as a rosy trumpet tree due its beautiful flowers. The tree is common throughout Costa Rica. It sheds all its leaves to channel the little energy it has into the production of flowers, fruits and seeds.
